Burris has announced a second-generation update to its Veracity riflescope line, marking a full redesign of the company’s long-running premium hunting optic. Introduced for the 2026 model year, the new Veracity series builds on the original’s reputation with updated optics, revised ergonomics, and a modular turret system aimed at modern hunting applications.
The Veracity line has been part of the Burris catalog for more than a decade, positioned as a non-digital, precision-focused hunting scope. This new generation narrows the focus on optical clarity, compact form factor, and user-configurable controls while retaining a traditional riflescope layout.

Optically, Burris states the updated Veracity riflescopes deliver improved brightness, color accuracy, and edge-to-edge clarity, with an emphasis on low-light performance. The use of ED glass and revised lens coatings is intended to support hunting scenarios from early morning through last light without increasing overall scope size.
From a usability standpoint, the Knob Synergy System represents one of the most notable changes. The modular turret platform allows shooters to configure elevation and windage controls based on preference, including low-profile capped setups or exposed dialing configurations. Burris also offers custom laser-engraved elevation turrets matched to specific cartridges and ballistic profiles.
The reticle lineup includes familiar Burris designs along with the new RCT-MOA reticle, which introduces a simplified “Christmas tree” layout for holdover and wind calls. The Plex Fiber Dot reticle remains an option for hunters who prefer a highly visible central aiming point in varying light conditions.

In its second generation, the Burris Veracity Hunting Riflescopes remain focused on traditional precision hunting while incorporating modular controls and updated optics that reflect current expectations in the premium riflescope category.
