Crosman Corporation has introduced the Crosman Raiden full-auto BB gun, the company’s first battery-powered model capable of both semi-automatic and fully automatic fire. The electric power system eliminates the need for carbon dioxide cartridges while delivering velocities up to 430 feet per second.
The Raiden feeds from an 80-round detachable magazine and has a cyclic rate of 500 shots per minute. Crosman says the 1,500mAh battery provides approximately 2,200 shots per charge while maintaining consistent velocity until the battery is depleted.

Battery power gives the Raiden a different operating profile than common carbon dioxide-powered full-auto BB guns. There are no disposable gas cartridges to replace, and Crosman says the electric system avoids the gradual velocity loss that can occur as carbon dioxide pressure drops.
The 80-round magazine also provides substantially more capacity than the 20-round magazines commonly found on similar recreational BB guns. Combined with the included speedloader, that capacity should reduce interruptions during informal target shooting.
